1. Is $150 the right amount for a real estate closing gift?

   For most transactions, yes. A closing gift should read as proportionate rather than as a percentage, and $150 lands there for the majority of homes. Settle In gives the client two pieces they'll keep, which matters more than the number does. For a larger transaction or a repeat client, look at Level 3 or Level 4.

2. Should I choose the clear or the amber vase?

   Clear if you haven't seen the house. It disappears into any interior. Amber if you know the home leans warm: wood tones, cream walls, brass fixtures. Amber also photographs beautifully against the travertine, which is worth considering if the gift is being opened in front of other people.

3. Are the flowers included?

   No. The stems in our photography are styling only. The bud vase is meant for a single fresh or faux stem the recipient chooses, which is part of what makes it easy to live with.

4. How does Settle In compare to Welcome Home and Home and Host?

   Welcome Home, at $125, pairs a smaller tray with a reed diffuser. Settle In moves up to the ten-inch tray and swaps the diffuser for a cut crystal vase, so the gift reads as décor rather than fragrance. 5. Can the tray be used for serving?

   For dry serving, yes: cheese, bread, or a set of glasses on coasters. Travertine is natural and porous, so we'd keep it away from duty as a bar tray. Most recipients end up using it on an entry table, a dresser, or a bathroom counter.

We currently offer local delivery within the Reno, Nevada area, approximately 20 miles from our location, for a $15 delivery fee per address.

Our custom premade floral arrangements ship directly from our trusted partner vendor. This helps us offer a wider selection of ready-to-gift floral pieces while making sure each arrangement is packed appropriately for transit.

Because these arrangements ship separately from partner inventory, they may arrive in a separate shipment from other items in your order. Processing and transit times may vary slightly depending on the arrangement, availability, and destination.

Rush Shipping

Need your gift to arrive sooner? We offer a rush shipping option for an additional $50 when available. This covers moving your order to the front of the production line, not the carrier's fee.

For express delivery of two days or less, shipping is billed at actual carrier cost, calculated by our team for your specific order and destination. Weight, size, and how far it's going all move that number, so please reach out before you place the order and we'll give you a real figure rather than a guess.

Rush availability may depend on the item, order size, destination, and current production or packing schedule. For custom gifts, large orders, or specialty items, we recommend reaching out first so we can confirm the best timeline.

Processing Times

If a ship date is not selected or requested at checkout, orders typically ship within 3–4 business days from the date of purchase.

In November and December, plan on 5–7 business days. Everything is still made by hand, and there are simply more hands' worth of it during the holidays. Order early and you'll never notice the difference.

Large custom orders, specialty gifts, corporate orders, and more detailed gift baskets and boxes may require additional processing time depending on the size, complexity, product availability, and final presentation.

Corporate orders scale with their size. Fifteen baskets is a different week than fifty. We'll give you a firm timeline when we confirm your order, and we'd rather quote you honestly than quote you fast.

Tracking Information

Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided so you can follow the delivery and know when to keep an eye out.

If your order includes multiple items or a premade floral arrangement shipping from our partner vendor, you may receive more than one tracking number.

Weather & Carrier Delays

Once your order leaves our hands, it's in the carrier's — and the carrier answers to the weather. Snow over the Sierra, ice storms, fog, and the general chaos of late December can all slow a package down, and none of it is something we can hurry along.

We'll always help you track it, and we'll always answer the email. We can build you a beautiful basket or gift box, but we cannot negotiate with the jet stream.

Delivery Responsibility

Once an order is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the package is released. We are not responsible for stolen packages, packages left unattended, weather exposure after delivery, or orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout.

Please double-check all shipping details before completing your purchase, especially when sending gifts. We are very good at creating thoughtful baskets and boxes, but sadly, we cannot reroute a package once it is already on its way.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

If an address is entered incorrectly — it happens more often than you'd think, usually the sender's own address — or is missing important details such as an apartment, suite, gate code, business name, or recipient information, the order may be delayed, returned, or delivered incorrectly.

Additional shipping fees may apply if an order needs to be reshipped due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.

A Note About Gift Timing

If you are sending a gift for a specific date, we recommend ordering as early as possible. We will always do our best to meet requested timing, but carrier delays, weather, holidays, and address issues can affect delivery once a package leaves our hands.

For time-sensitive gifts, local delivery or rush shipping may be the best option when available.

Every basket is built by hand, one at a time, for one person. No algorithm, no assembly line, no warehouse in Ohio. Because of that, all sales are final — no refunds, returns, or exchanges on gift baskets, gift boxes, or shop items.

If something inside isn't quite your taste, pass it along. A good gift rarely stays put anyway.

If something arrives damaged

We'll replace it.

Email contact@biggestlittlebaskets.com within three days of delivery, subject line Damaged Item. Include one photo of the item and one of the shipping box — our carrier requires both to file a claim, and they're immune to our charm without them.

Three days, two photos. That's all we ask.

Corporate & custom orders

Custom work starts the moment you say yes. We source the pieces, hold the inventory, and begin curating — often weeks before anything ships.

As such, corporate and custom orders require a non-refundable 30% deposit to reserve your place on the calendar. It goes straight into your order, not into a void. If plans change, we'll do what we can to move dates, but the deposit stays with the work it's already funded.

Quantity changes are welcome up to 14 days before delivery. And if someone gets added to the list after that, tell us anyway — we'll do everything we can to make room. Somebody always gets added to the list.

The balance is due before shipping or delivery.
